Jeff Daye is an NYC-based composer-lyricist, playwright, and electronic music designer. He specializes in creating electronic pop scores, blending digital and acoustic sounds. He aims to create a modern theatre experience by utilizing a combination of tracked and live instrumentation.
Jeff’s immersive electronic musical Cleopatra is receiving a world premiere production this fall at Chelsea Music Hall in New York, on the heels of a successful sold-out workshop run in 2017 at Theater for the New City.
Jeff also works as an electronic music designer and orchestrator, providing support for other composers looking to add modern flavors to their work. Orchestration and electronic design credits include MAD LIBS LIVE! (New World Stages, National Tour 2019), Kerrigan-Lowdermilk’s The Bad Years, and Nikola Tesla Drops the Beat (Adirondack Theatre Festival 2017).
